Here, reformed militants from the Kashmir valley share their horrific tales. The video captures the journey of two of them, from insurgency to civilian life. Shot in Kashmir, it gives a fascinating insight into their minds, the reason why they took this path, and the reason why they decided to surrender to the Indian Government.

Ashaq Hussain surrendered in 2003 and Dilabar Aman Chechi in 2002, under the Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy of the Government of India. Ashaq is now a teacher and member of village Panchayat. Dilabar works as a labourer and plays music for a living.
