Born in 1863, Swami Vivekananda lived without most of the trappings of modern society. No internet, no mobile phones, very limited technology. But his teachings, characterised by the pursuit of fearlessness and truth, transcend geography and time. In the age of the start-up and the pursuit of "authenticity", his words ring truer than ever. It is perhaps fitting that the day of his birth is celebrated in India as National Youth Day.
