ISRO offers free online course in Advanced Geospatial Technologies
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is conducting a free, three-day webinar on Bhuvan, its geoportal platform. This hosts a variety of services like visualisation of satellite data, creating thematic maps, offering near real-time disaster services, and more.
Things to know:
- The webinar is open to students from fields like Computer Science, Geo-informatics, Civil Engineering, Remote Sensing, Geology, and Geography.
- It is also open to participants from various government organisations and professions.
- The course will cover all the functionalities on Bhuvan like Visualisation, Data Download, Services Provided, Map Services, Crowdsourcing, Applications, API, etc.
