It’s the middle of December, and people all over the country have taken their cosy winter clothes out of the wardrobe. Especially in the Northern parts of India, winter has really set in, accounting for shorter, colder days and longer, chillier nights.
Even as humans wrap themselves up in shawls, sweaters and winterwear of all types, it is strays like dogs who have to suffer.
But not in Delhi.
NGOs like House of Stray Animals have come forward to help stray dogs stay warm in winters. Donating woollen blankets, sweaters and even beds, they are helping their furry friends stay comfortable during the cold months.
And if you think these are discarded human sweaters left on the streets for dogs, think again.
