Once a cab driver, Dadasaheb Gaikwad has dedicated his life to helping those abandoned on Pune’s streets. From reuniting families to offering refuge, Dadasaheb has done it all—even selling his wife’s jewelry and quitting his job to keep the mission alive.

"If you see someone on the streets in Pune, call me. If nothing else, at least give them something to eat. Humanity must stay alive," he says.
