Sweta Panda’s Odisha home boasts a stunning garden, where she has also deployed old and discarded tyres, bottles and boxes.

What started with just a few saplings is now a thriving garden with 700 plants.

The 38-year-old has been gardening since childhood. With 50 different varieties of plants, Sweta has managed to grow everything, from vegetables and fruits to ornamental flowers.

Strawberry, sapeta, mango, coconut, banana, brinjal, pointed gourd, chillies, tomatoes, cucumber, broccoli, capsicum, spinach, coriander, purple cabbage — she grows it all.

Sweta also has a compost pit where she makes organic manure from the kitchen and garden waste, and she routinely recycles dry waste.
