In 2022, Umar received an unprecedented order for over 16,000 diyas and last year, he aimed to produce 20,000 to meet rising demand, demonstrating his hard work and commitment.

In 2023, Umar and his father managed to produce about 1,000-1,200 diyas daily, working overtime to fulfil the increasing orders while maintaining high standards of quality.

Of the 20,000 diyas, 10,000-12,000 were sent to Jammu, while the remainder were sold locally in the Valley. This distribution fosters connections among communities during the festival, enriching the spirit of togetherness.
