And here's something even better: it was designed without disturbing the natural ecosyste

You might remember studying mangroves back in school. But here, it’s all real—right in front of you. Mangroves aren't just pretty plants; they’re protectors.

They shield the coast from floods, hold the soil in place, house a wide range of species, and absorb eight times more carbon dioxide than most other plants.

Over the years, the boardwalk has earned a reputation, not just for its environmental impact, but also as a lover’s point. Also, keep in mind that some of the wooden planks are broken, and at odd hours, the vibe can get shady. Best to bring a buddy along and stick to daylight strolls.

Whether you're walking solo or chatting with a friend, the boardwalk offers a surprising sense of calm in the middle of the city.

And guess what? There’s no ticket! Only the mangroves and a few thoughtfully placed benches, if you want to sit and soak it all in.

Finding your way there is easy. Just head to the Central Library at Patto, walk past the watchman’s cabin, and loop around to the back.
