A civil engineer by profession, he discussed with his friend about beautifying railway stations through paintings.
He and his friend proposed a 3D artwork project that would promote the local heritage, art, culture and traditions.
What began with a small team of five people now has over 145 artists, and their company, ‘Satrangi Creations’, is widely known in the railway circles.
“So far [until 2022], we have covered 48 stations and an area of 7 lakh square feet. The idea is to encourage people to keep the stations clean by having a unique creation. It is unlikely that you will throw garbage in a spot that looks stunning,” he says.
While some of their projects are funded by the railway department, others are supported through CSR initiatives or self-funded.
