India houses the largest youth population globally. A looming threat in the utilisation of this demographic is the urgent need to bridge skill gaps, particularly in marginalised communities.
Change is underway, with organisations like the Anudip Foundation stepping in to empower the youth, especially in less developed urban areas.
Founded in 2007 by the couple, Radha and Dipak Basu, Anudip Foundation focusses on enabling youth with essential skills for better job opportunities.
Anudip’s curriculum includes cutting-edge skills like image identification for AI and video analysis, crucial for industries like Major League Baseball and autonomous vehicle technology.
With a remarkable impact of transforming five lakh lives and a 70 percent job placement rate. Notably, 53 percent of Anudip’s successful job placements comprise women.
Anudip’s expansive reach includes over 90 learning centres across India, targeting marginalised groups, refugees, and individuals with disabilities.
Graduates have progressed to prestigious companies like Accenture, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra.
By operating in 22 Indian states and expanding internationally, Anudip illustrates a scalable model for skill development.
Anudip Foundation’s approach provides a blueprint for turning aspirations into tangible successes through skill enrichment and strategic partnerships.
